O meia Miguelito, do América-MG, foi preso em flagrante em Ponta Grossa (PR) na noite deste domingo (4) sob acusação de injúria racial contra o atacante Allano, do Operário-PR. O incidente teria ocorrido durante a partida entre as duas equipes, válida pela sexta rodada da Série B do Campeonato Brasileiro. O volante Jacy, também do Operário-PR, testemunhou o ato.
Segundo informações da Polícia Civil do Paraná, após o apito final da partida, Miguelito, Allano e Jacy foram conduzidos por policiais militares até a 13ª Subdivisão Policial. Após serem ouvidos pelas autoridades, o jogador do América-MG recebeu voz de prisão em flagrante pelo crime de injúria racial, previsto na Lei nº 7.716/89.
A Polícia Civil informou que já está em contato com os canais de transmissão da partida, por meio do advogado do Operário-PR, com o objetivo de obter imagens que possam ter registrado o momento em que a ofensa racial foi proferida. Testemunhas relatam que Miguelito teria se dirigido a Allano utilizando a expressão “Preto do C***”.
O Inquérito Policial para apurar o caso deverá ser concluído nos próximos dias. A pena máxima prevista para o crime de injúria racial no Brasil é de 5 (cinco) anos de reclusão. O caso repercute no cenário esportivo nacional, levantando novamente o debate sobre o combate ao racismo no futebol.
